As we’ve announced over the last few of weeks, we have been given a very generous financial donation. The use of these proceeds, along with the purchase of state-of-the-art training equipment, has been used for a one-time outfitting of our swimmers in team shirts, bags and caps. The goal is simple: to show our pride in the Lawrence Aquahawks and make a unified TEAM presence at all meets and practices.
Those swimmer’s who competed in the recent Voorhees-Maxfield meet in Topeka and the KCB Early Bird meet, were the first swimmers outfitted with the event t-shirts (one for each day of competition), embroidered Aquahawks backpack, mesh equipment bags and practice and event swim caps. All other competitive swimmers are in the process of receiving this package (please see your coach concerning the distribution of these items).
While this gift is a one-time offering to our current competitive swimmers, it is our desire to make this vision sustainable. Going forward all Aquahawk caps (latex and silicone), competitive suits (boys and girls), t-shirts (event and pride), bags (mesh and backpack) will be sold at COST to membership.

Parents, it’s time to show our Aquahawk pride. At only $5 a shirt, by wearing the Aquahawks Pride t-shirts, we can all make our presence known at swim meets.
Aquahawk Pride T-shirts and swimcaps are available for purchase at all home swim meets. You can also purchase any of the items by contacting our Vice President of Membership, Christy Odrowski at Christy.odrowski@sbcglobal.net or 766-2054. All purchases made at our local swim meets will be cash or check only. All purchases made through Christy Odrowski will be charged to your Aquahawk account and will show-up on your next billing statement.
