 FUNDRAISING POLICY

Wave the Wheat

Aquahawk policy requires each Silver, Gold, Platinum, Senior and National swimmer to raise a minimum of $175 during the Wave the Wheat fundraiser from advertising sales. This event occurs in July of each year. Any shortfall is billed in the next monthly billing.  Each swimmer will be assigned businesses that they will contact and ask to purchase advertising for the Aquahawk WAVE THE WHEAT Heat Sheet, Powerpoint Presentation or a Banner.  This is the primary fundraiser for the club.

USA SWIM A THON

The USA Swim-a-thon is in October or November of each year and each swimmer in Silver, Gold, Platinum, Senior and National is required to raise $75.00 from pledges for swimming laps.   The event is held at the indoor aquatic center.

The Vice President of Fundraising is in charge of both of these events and provides additional information about the events closer to the event time.
